The story
The museum relocated to a spectacular modern landmark in Kensington in 2016, where it has welcomed over 2 million visitors since reopening and was awarded European Museum of the Year 2018. A single gray, concrete-like perforated screen seamlessly links together all three of the key rooms within the exhibition, helping to smooth out the transitions in time from Ghana to India and back again.
